Furthermore, the organization works to educate the public about women’s issues, lobby for legislative reforms, and partner with local communities.
SurWee foundation empowers women through inclusive and accessible education, literacy, skill development and leadership programmes. The organization transforms women’s lives by breaking gender stereotypes, removing socio-economic barriers and enabling them to participate in various fields. The organization inspires a vision of a more just and equitable society for all.
Our Director
Rinki Sharma is driven by the belief in Rosa Parks’ quote: “You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.” As the Chairperson and Programme Director of the SurWee Foundation, she channels her passion for social welfare into every aspect of her work. With an unwavering commitment to uplifting the underprivileged, Rinki’s leadership at the SurWee Foundation focuses on women’s empowerment and social awareness. Since 2009, she has collaborated with numerous organisations across India, successfully leading fundraising initiatives and forging partnerships with notable personalities. Recognised for her efforts in promoting women’s rights and empowerment, she has received several awards for her impactful work. Raised in Delhi, with roots in Uttarakhand, Rinki’s journey is a testament to her dedication to social causes.
